Majors League Overview (Ages 11–12)

The Majors League is designed to build on both fundamental and advanced baseball skills in a competitive environment that emphasizes instruction and player development. This league introduces more advanced game rules to prepare players for higher levels of baseball.

Team Structure & Schedule

Teams typically consist of 10–12 players.

A minimum of 8 players is required to start a game.

Teams playing with 8 players will take an automatic out when the 9th batter in the lineup comes to the plate.

All players must bat.

Games typically last about 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Expect an average of 2–3 events per week (games and practices), with fewer events during the fall season.

Team Formation
Players are assigned to teams through a draft process following evaluations.

Basic League Rules

Players are allowed to lead off bases and steal.
