AGE REQUIREMENTS ​
League age is determined by the player's age as of April 30, 2026 (T-Ball through Major).
​
Pre-T players must turn 3 years old on or before January 31, 2026.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Playing Within Age Groups

All players must play within their designated age group.

An age verification process will be conducted.

Parents wishing for their child to play outside their designated age group must request approval from the Winder Lions Baseball Board prior to evaluations.

4-year-olds (Pre-T) requesting to play up in T-Ball must email the board and be evaluated for approval.

Coaching Requirements

All coaches must register online each season.

Head coach spots are filled on a first come, first served basis — no exceptions.

Confirmation of coaching positions will be sent via email to the head coach.

Travel Ball Player Placement Guidelines
-
6-year-old travel players (currently in 6U or 7U travel): must play in 8U rec league.

7-year-old travel players (currently in 7U or 8U travel): may play in 8U or 10U rec leagues.

8-year-old travel players (currently in 8U or 9U travel): must play in 10U rec league.
-
9-year-old travel players (currently in 9U or 10U travel): may play in 10U or 12U rec leagues.

10-year-old travel players (currently in 10U or 11U travel): must play in 12U rec league.​
