Peewee League Overview (Ages 7–8)

The Peewee League is designed to strengthen both fundamental and emerging advanced skills in a positive, team-focused environment. This league emphasizes sportsmanship, skill development, and healthy competition, preparing players for the transition to full kid pitch.

Team Structure & Schedule

Teams typically consist of 10–12 players.

All players will bat, with a maximum of 10 players on the field at one time.

Expect an average of 2–3 events per week (games or practices).

Note: The fall season typically includes fewer events.

Team Formation
Players are assigned to teams through a draft, following pre-season evaluations.

Key League Features

This is the final league to use coach pitch, while introducing kid pitch elements to prepare players for the next level.

A minimum of 9 players must be present to play a game.

Basic League Rules

All players will bat in the lineup, regardless of their fielding position.

All players must:

Play the infield for at least 1 inning during the first 4 innings.

Play in the field for at least 2 innings total in each game.
